Service Description

When you join a String of Pearls, you can expect to find time to grow your writing practice by examining your life and giving yourself the time and space to transform your experiences, even those that seem impossible to face, into pearls. I will guide our writing sessions and accompany you in monthly office hours as well as share my vast knowledge of literary strategies and techniques. You are free to sample any of them, or just come and write. I promise this will change your perspective! Just allowing ourselves the freedom to sit down and consider the emotions of our life experiences, put them into words, and then reread what we have written empowers us and helps us to work through difficult moments. As you write, you will find yourself in the position of an oyster, who takes what is causing pain, pays attention, and transforms it into, yes, a pearl.
